Bronte sisters book origami rose hair grip

This vintage flower hair clip has been made using paper from Jane Eyre or 

Wuthering Heights

Not only is this an original way of recycling unwanted paper it also adds an original touch to what is otherwise quite a traditional design.  The use of varnish not only enhances the rose by adding a gentle shine but also adds strength, durability and water resistance.

It comes carefully wrapped together with a certificate of authenticity to guarantee the book used.

The clip measures 7 cm (approximately 2 1/2 inches) in length. Being handmade the exact size of each rose all vary slightly but will be approximately 4 cm (1 1/2 inches) across.

The rose has been given several coats of varnish to add shine, durability and water resistance.
